Kevin Minchey became the sixth Senior Pastor for Indian Lake Peninsula Church on December 1, 2022. Kevin and his wife, Laura, came to ILPC after serving the TN Baptist Mission Board for 4 years. Kevin received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY. He has pastored several churches in Tennessee and Georgia with his last pastorate at FBC Shelbyville. ​

Kevin and Laura married in 1991 after he graduated from Belmont University. The Minchey's returned to Hendersonville in 2020 having a love for this area, specifically the Indian Lake Peninsula. Laura grew up on the Peninsula and Kevin in nearby Madison. They have one daughter, Anna, who is married to Drake and they are the parents of Abram.

Pastor Kevin has a heart to see Hendersonville impacted by the Gospel and Jesus transform lives. His desire is to see ILPC become a place of gospel-centered worship, community, and service. His heart for the nations is evident in his communication and leadership, engaging regularly with local and world missions, and leading ILPC to do the same.
